Archive for the “RCHS Geometry” CategoryHere were the multiple choice answers if you didn’t get them today! Did you get 315.8 in2 for the volume of the bowling ball? It took me longer than expected to post the videos of working out the open response question but I got them done none the less. I will post the answer key to the Multiple choice part of the final review tomorrow(I forgot to bring it home with me yesterday,D’oh!) Anyways come to class with questions or post a question here. Thanks! Hey Geometry Crew! I have decided to just post the answers/explanations to our homework. I hope it is helpful and that you are keeping up in your studies. If you have any questions email or post a question. I will try to keep an eye open for them . Here is an explanation for SGI pages 129 and 130. These types of problems will be on the test! This is embedded in Google video.
Our unit 7 test is tomorrow! This test will cover reflections,(x and y axis, origin, and line y=x) translations, (shifting up, down , left, right) rotations (90 degrees clockwise and anticlockwise, 180 degrees) and dilations. Posted are the answers to the study guide I gave out Monday. Remember that you can make a cheat sheet to use on the test from a 3″ by 5″ index card or paper cut to size. If you have any questions, post a comment or email me at mcclendonmath at gmail dot com. I spelled it out to avoid spam issues. I will check the blog and email at around 8 and 11 tonight for questions. Other than that , have a great day! If anyone from first block has questions be ready with them becuase we won’t have anytime to review before becuase of clubs.
